Services Performed
- Vehicles temp gauge is INOPERABLE. Scanner throws code 1D2008 Recommending bleeding cooling system or replacing thermostat. Cooling system test was done to confirm thermostat and coolant temp gauge works. Also checked the instrument cluster to see if all gauges work.
- Removed and replaced both front parking bulbs
- Removed air box then the three coolant hoses connected to the thermostat assembly to drain coolant. Removed and replaced thermostat assembly then used vacuum purge kit to fill coolant in cooling system. Washed coolant off of engine and subframe with water then test drove vehicle to confirm thermostat operates correctly and cooling system is at correct operating temperatures.
