- Raised vehicle on hoist. Removed rear tires. Removed 2 trailing arm bolts. Removed sway bar end links. Removed lower strut mounting bolt. Removed 2 flange nuts from top of strut. Removed and replaced rear struts. Reinstalled all components that was removed. Torqued all components.
- Raised vehicle on hoist. Removed front tires. Disconnected sway bar end links from struts. Removed axle nut and loosened cv axle. Removed both pinch bolts from struts. Removed 5 nuts from strut tower. Removed and installed new struts. Reinstalled all components that was removed. Torqued all bolts to specifications.
- WHEEL ALIGNMENT STANDARD
- Raised vehicle on hoist. Removed rear tires. Removed caliper. Removed and replaced rear rotors. Installed new brake pads. Reinstalled caliper. Reinstalled rear tires. Torqued tires to specifications.

2010 Toyota Tacoma

- Verified customer concern. Jack up rear of truck and in neutral only right rear would turn. Remove and reinstall left rear wheel and drum – brake shoes were stuck with rust to drum. Truck now moves in gear. Need to replace rear brake shoes as they are down to 2mm thickness. Also wheel on truck have incorrect lug nuts, they should be shouldered (not taper seat).
- Drained and measured transmission fluid. Removed transmission oil pan. Removed and replaced transmission fluid filter. Cleaned oil pan and magnets. Cleaned sealing surfaces. Installed oil pan with new gasket. Added fluid. Performed transmission fluid adjustment procedure using scan tool.
- Removed front calipers, pads and rotors. Cleaned contact points. Installed new rotors and brake pads.
- Drained diff oil and cleaned drain plug magnet. Reinstalled and filled oil.
- Drained coolant from radiator and engine block drain. Filled cooling system, performed coolant bleed procedure.
- Removed rear wheels, drums. Removed brake shoes and hardware. Cleaned backing plates, lubricated contact points. Cleaned hardware and star adjusters that are being reused. Installed hardware and brackets to new shoes. Reinstalled brake shoes and components. Adjusted shoes for proper braking and parking brake operation.
- Removed brake line, removed wheel cylinder. Installed new wheel cylinder. Bled brake system.
- Complete brake system flush.
- Inspected and found that there was gear oil leakage present in the rear drum brake assemblies, axle seals will have to be replaced. Removed and inspected axle breather, found that it was clogged which is the probable root cause of the axle seal failure. Removed obstruction and cleared axle breather, reinstalled. Removed parking brake cable, wheel speed sensor connector, axle assembly hardware. Removed axle shaft and wheel hub assembly. Removed old axle seals. Cleaned sealing surfaces. Installed new axle seals, reinstalled components.

RETURNED TO SHOP AND CHECKED OIL LEVEL, OIL LEVEL OKAY, REINSPECTED ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND NO OIL OR FUEL LEAKS FOUND. VERIFIED FUEL PUMP IS OKAY, NOTED FUEL PUMP RELAY IS NEW. NO REPAIRS RECOMMENDED AT THIS TIME.
