- SERVICE SPECIAL – 5 QUARTS OF OIL, FILTER AND 28 POINT VEHICLE INSPECTION.
- Perform a 28 point inspection
- Scanned vehicle for fault codes, found p0128 thermostat rationality. Thermostat most likely stuck open, coolant temperature is below normal operating temperature
- Drained coolant. Removed air intake tube. Removed upper radiator hose, thermostat/housing. Cleaned sealing surface. Verified that the old thermostat was partially stuck open. Installed new thermostat, reinstalled components. Filled coolant and performed coolant bleed procedure. Cleaned residual coolant. Test drove vehicle, found that the coolant temperature stays at normal operating temperature. No leaks present.
